Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Bark Street Mobile Dog Grooming, we strive to provide the best grooming experience for you and your pet. We understand that sometimes plans change, and we want to be fair and transparent about our refund and cancellation process.
1. Appointment Cancellations
We kindly ask for at least [24] hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations made with more than [24] hours’ notice: No fee — your deposit (if any) will be fully refunded or applied to a future appointment.

Cancellations made with less than [24] hours’ notice: A [percentage or flat amount] cancellation fee may apply to cover lost time and travel costs.

No-shows: If we arrive for a scheduled appointment and you are not available, the full service fee may be charged.
2. Refunds for Services
Because grooming is a personalized service, refunds are generally not offered once the grooming is completed. However, your satisfaction matters to us — if you’re unhappy with any part of your pet’s groom, please contact us within [24–48 hours] so we can make it right.
We may offer:

A complimentary touch-up (within reason and schedule availability), or

A partial refund at our discretion in special circumstances.
3. Deposits and Prepayments
Some appointments (especially first-time clients or large breeds) may require a deposit to secure your booking.

Deposits are refundable if you cancel with sufficient notice (see section 1).

Deposits are non-refundable for last-minute cancellations or no-shows.
4. Health, Safety, and Behavior Policy
If your pet’s health, temperament, or behavior makes grooming unsafe, we reserve the right to stop the service.

You will only be charged for the portion of the grooming completed.

Refunds or reschedules will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Weather or Emergency Cancellations
If we must cancel due to severe weather, vehicle issues, or emergencies, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to reschedule.

In these cases, no cancellation fees will apply, and any deposit will be fully credited or refunded.
